A Message from our Board of Governors: Office, Engagement and COVID-19
As the FNHIC-BC continues to monitor the progress of COVID-19 in BC and evaluate the status of our operations and upcoming engagements, we at the FNHIC-BC are taking every precaution we can to keep those we serve safe.
The FNHIC-BC has implemented the following cautionary measures to help protect our staff and board members:
Office and Staff
-
Beginning Monday, March 16, office staff will work remotely. All staff are encouraged to practice social distancing and to postpone or cancel external meetings that cannot be conducted online.
-
Effective immediately, our HIC office located at 1008 – 100 Park Royal S. West Vancouver, BC will be closed through to the end of March.
Engagement
-
The FNHIC-BC Forum 2020 Event – Will now be postponed until the current crisis is deemed safe - more information to follow.
-
BC Community Engagement will be postponed until the current crisis is deemed safe. The FNHIC-BC is developing webinars and hopes to have them up and running by early April. We are also developing podcasts to keep everyone up to date on what is going on with the transfer of care and control of housing–stay tuned.
We are grateful for the support of our BC communities, staff, and board members. We will communicate any changes as they arise, and we invite you to stay connected with us via website, social media and email updates.
The health and safety of each of you and your families are our priority. We will continue to monitor the latest developments and will provide updates regarding any changes to our engagement schedule.
Stay Safe
The FNHIC-BC Board of Governors
