Happy Holidays 2021!
Happy Holidays!
Happy holidays and many blessings from the entire team here at the BC First Nations Housing and Infrastructure Council!
In reflection of 2021, we cannot ignore the many devasting events that took place. From the pandemic to the forest fires and the floods, and the many climate disasters that we all witnessed and experienced. These events impacted us deeply and affected the housing and infrastructure that our many communities rely on. In the face of so much tragedy, we still see and acknowledge the perseverance and dedication each of you exhibited while working towards a better future for your communities. We are so proud of the many accomplishments each individual and unique First Nation has been able to achieve in this incredibly difficult year.
Moving forward we look forward to 2022 as a collective. In January we are excited to announce the launch of the many FNHIC-BC Equity, Diversity, and Inclusivity (EDI) Initiatives including a panel discussion being held on January 24th – the UN International Day of Education.
As always, we look forward to working with you and gaining your feedback, insight, and perspectives as we create, produce and build the foundation of housing and infrastructure services led by and for First Nations!
Please always stay in touch with us on your journey and keep informed of our upcoming events through our website and our Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter pages.
All the best in 2022, and we look forward to hearing about the many successes that you and your communities have coming your way!
