Dan George is Chief of Ts’il Kaz Koh (Burns Lake Band), currently serving his second consecutive term as Chief Councillor for his northern BC community. He is an Indigenous leader who is dedicated to social and economic development equality for Indigenous peoples and has served as a leader fiercely advocating for change on these issues at local, provincial and national levels.

Heather Hastings is from Tsartlip First Nation. She worked as her community’s registered nurse for 7 years and has been the Health Director for the past 2 years.
