HIC has been featured in a Black Press article titled "A First Nations housing authority moves ahead" . The article profiles HIC's work to make an authority a reality.

The story, published March 27, 2019 mentioned the First Nations Housing and Infrastructure Council of BC as leading the effort and hosting a forum, which touched on governance, finances, and the integration of on- and off-reserve housing. The article was published in several of Black Press' community newspapers.
