Born and raised in the Okanagan Valley, Christianne Hossmann is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) who brings financial expertise and a passion for helping deliver housing to communities across British Columbia. After earning her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Okanagan College, she began her career in public practice with BDO Canada, working with First Nations governments and housing organizations on financial reporting, audits, and compliance with funder requirements. She later became the Financial Controller for a group of companies that built single- and multi-family housing across BC, with a focus on Indigenous projects. In that role, she developed and implemented a procurement process and policy that strengthened financial controls and improved efficiency. Her experience managing construction budgets, funding agreements, and project reporting has given her a strong understanding of the financial and operational realities of housing delivery.
At FNHIC, Christianne leads financial operations and governance support to advance housing and infrastructure initiatives that strengthen First Nations communities. Outside of work, you can find Christianne training for her next marathon or discovering a new mountain to conquer with her husband, family, and friends.
