Housing asset management in First Nations communities goes beyond construction; it is about creating safe and healthy environments, empowering our people, and building our own futures.

FNHIC has created a Housing Pilot Project, which is designed to gather and collect information to assist nations to repair and maintain existing homes and plan for future housing needs. 

This project will consist of one or more of the following services:

  • Home Condition Assessments

  • Data Entry/Data System (i.e. Asset Planner) 

  • Housing & Maintenance Staff Training

  • Final Report and Presentation to Community and Leadership

  • Ongoing support for system updates

  • Data Management & Analysis using asset management software programs
