Community Validation Survey: Shaping Our Path Forward Together

Introduction

FNHIC is working to build a Framework and Business Case to support the transfer of housing and infrastructure services from Indigenous Services Canada to a First Nations-led organization. This work is grounded in the direction and priorities shared by First Nations communities across British Columbia.

We are inviting your Nation to participate in the upcoming validation sessions — opportunities to confirm that the proposed approach reflects your values and decision-making realities. This survey helps us understand how best to design those sessions and share information with your community.

Please share this survey and the attached validation package with your Leadership and key decision-makers.

Your input will ensure that the validation process is respectful of your Nation’s way of making decisions and meets your needs.

Survey

Thank you for taking the time to share your Nation’s views. Your leadership and guidance are essential as we work together to create a housing and infrastructure service that truly reflects First Nations values and priorities.

Please provide your responses by March 31, 2026, so your input can shape the next steps.
